@doctorparadox it is something we're working on with #indieweb, where each post does stand alone, but they get shared to others' sites

Heh, a webring of internet newsletters: http://internetofnewsletters.com/
#
gRegorLove
I don't really agree with "They use email. And we don’t get distracted when we read email. So we pay attention to them." but it's still an interesting resurgence of newsletters and webrings.
#
gRegorLove
What is newsletter?
#
Loqi
It looks like we don't have a page for "newsletter" yet. Would you like to create it? https://indiewebcamp.com/s/10Fo

A webring is a collection of websites linked together in a circular structure https://indiewebcamp.com/webring

Hey, cool

kylewm: Message saved forever!
#
gRegorLove
Agreed, likely a criticism of that. Also easier for someone to set up a newsletter sans a website at all. They can just use their Twitter and Mailchimp or whatever to send out newsletters.
#
gRegorLove
I've seen quite a few start up newsletters with https://www.tinyletter.com/
