skinny: tantek left you a message 9 hours, 53 minutes ago: That is totally awesome!! (apologies for the lack of immediate response, you caught me just before I passed out asleep). What's the URL for your new server/site?

skinny: tantek left you a message 9 hours, 47 minutes ago: how long did gem install jekyll take? many minutes? hours? a day? rough estimate?
#
skinny
!tell tanket It will live at personandplace.com soon, just on my box at the moment. I left the gem installing when I went to bed and it was done the next morning.

Ok, I'll tell them that when I see them next

aaronpk
question about values for h-entry properties...
#
aaronpk
should units be part of the value or not? for example on http://pin13.net/mf2/?url=http%3A%2F%2Faaronparecki.com%2Fmetrics%2F2013%2F11%2F08%2F072700%2F weight has two values, "153.6lbs" and "69.8kg"
#
aaronpk
the problem is if I include the string units in the value, then parsing the value becomes much harder, because the parser needs to know about all units
#
aaronpk
or, a parser could optionally ignore any non-numeric characters in the value if it wishes, I suppose the could work as well
#
Jeena
hm, there seems to be a bug in the wiki sign in, if I add https://jeena.net as my domain, it only sends me=jeena.net as a parameter
#
aaronpk
oh yea...
#
aaronpk
that bit brennan too
#
Jeena
then IndieAuth assumes that my domain is http://jeena.net and it only gets a redirect 302 and kind of crashes
#
aaronpk
yep I should fix that
#
Jeena
for now I will just change the get parameter
#
Jeena
I will add it to the new github wiki issues :D
#
aaronpk
hah nice
#
aaronpk
I might be able to bang some of those out tomorrow
#
Jeena
no problem, I know how to work around them now ;)
#
aaronpk
glad that worked!
#
Jeena
is your name only aaronpk so in sorted lists you'd always be on top (kind of like Amazon)? ;)
#
aaronpk
I have always been at the top of sorted lists because my name is aaron
#
Jeena
Then your parents mus have been reading XKCD

Is it just me, or does jcard not really understand how json works?
#
aaronpk
lol I was wondering....
#
aaronpk
why would you do this: ["fn", {}, "text", "Simon Perreault"]
#
aaronpk
that basically defeats the entire purpose of json
#
aaronpk
["org", { "type": "work" }, "text", "Viagenie"]

KevinMarks, aaronpk: Presumably the idea is that you can convert back and forth without understanding the individual properties? Still seems stupid

{"org": [[{"type": "work"}, "text", "Viagenie"]]} would be much cleaner (where the outer braces delimit the entier card
