tantek sandeepshetty: re editorial control, eith experience I think you will learn that the less you make yourself a bottleneck, the more productive you become, and the more the stuff you make will be semi-automatically maintained.

sandeepshetty tantek: In general I agree with that (used to manage a team of 40+ devs in a previous life) but I also think that things left to themselves naturally tend towards complexity especially if multiple people with different goals/backgrounds are involved... someone needs to focus on simpliclity

bret If we actually wanted a website that was published on Github, I think the jekyll solution is the way to go in order to avoid readme's and the website getting out of sync, but I also think that just using the MD processing github or whatever git hosting site provides is fine to if we dont want a full on website. Just as long as there is no manual chore of keeping things up to date.
