tantek
still being "new" at git, I found this documentation of git workflow fascinating: http://www.thinkupapp.com/docs/contribute/developers/devfromsource.html
#
tantek
those of you more familiar with git/github - does this diagram something resembling your workflow?
#
barnabywalters
tantek: at initial glance it looks similar to my workflow
#
barnabywalters
everyone’s workflow differs a little
#
tantek
yeah, hence why I asked
#
barnabywalters
I found that once I got “into it” it completely changed my coding style
#
tantek
git seem to allow for many different workflows, and figuring out something that works for groups of people is always a challenge
#
barnabywalters
one of the nice shiny things I like about github is the ability to close issues from commits
#
barnabywalters
we’re not doing TDD here at Vïsar (yet), so to keep myself focused I open an issue for each small task I work on. Then I close the issue in the commit which fixes it
