WebRTC is a W3C Candidate Recommendation that defines a set of JS APIs for Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities, supported by modern browsers, and some video chat sites, sometimes used for remote participation during IndieWebCamps and virtual Homebrew Website Club meetups.
